Book a place at one of our open days to see for yourself what we offer.
Academic and support staff will be available to answer your questions,
while a campus tour with our current students allows you to view our
facilities and accommodation.
Our courses offer a flexible, modular structure, that enables you to build a programme of study that matches your
interests by choosing from our wide range of undergraduate modules.
Our course covers core areas of psychology including developmental psychology, intelligence, language,
memory, perception, social psychology, health psychology and research methods and statistics. It is fully
accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
You can take our course as either a BA or a BSc. The modules that you study are the same for both and the decision simply depends on your course
title preference. You can opt to switch between the BA and BSc during your first year.
BSc Psychology with Cognitive Neuroscience
Our BSc Psychology with Cognitive Neuroscience course covers core areas including brain and behaviour, methods in cognitive
neuroscience, developmental psychology, personality and individual differences, language, memory, perception, social psychology
and research methods and statistics.
We provide state-of-the-art facilities including our Centre for Brain Science, extensive laboratory space for experimental psychology and
special facilities for visual and auditory perception, developmental psychology and social psychology, with our Hearing Research Laboratory
and our Visual Perception Unit.
Our standard courses are three years in length, but you may opt to spend an additional year between your second and final
years studying abroad. As well as being a fantastic experience,
study abroad enhances your employability. A period of study abroad on your CV tells employers that you are mature, adaptable,
organised and independent.
