Blue Badge holders

If you are a blue badge holder you will have to pay the registration fee (0.25% of your salary), but not the annual or daily parking charge. This will mean that you will need to apply manually through the Estate Management HelpdeskEstate Management HelpdeskEstate Management Helpdesk or Travel Team by emailing travel@essex.ac.uk to register your vehicle.

For those who may need to be closer to central campus you can also apply to get a referral from Occupational Health ServicesOccupational Health ServicesOccupational Health Services. If eligible you will then be allocated one of our designated bays under podia (subject to availability). Please bear in mind these spaces are extremely limited and can only be offered on a first come first serve basis. You will need to display your blue badge and have prior authorisation before parking.

Non-Blue Badge holders
