Get a mentor or buddy
Ask an Essex student! Whether you are an undergraduate or postgraduate, you
can have a mentor.
This fellow student can answer your questions about any aspect of university
life. Or if you are interested in improving your English, Spanish or any other
language you can do this in the
International Student Association buddy scheme, while making new friends!
Our Residence Life team is
here to help you settle in and support you during your time living in
University-provided accommodation. Each Residents' Assistant (RA) is assigned an
area and will aim to get to know you, and organise a range of social activities.
Plus they can help if you’ve got any concerns and complaints.
