Grievance procedure

We aspire to create a supportive workplace where there is open and honest discussion. Where issues arise, we expect employees and line managers to do their best to settle them promptly. 

It is important to discuss concerns or complaints informally in the first instance. All parties should work to find a resolution. Meeting face-to-face and seeking to resolve promptly are both important in preventing matters escalating.

If informal resolution is not successful, then more formal action can be taken through the procedure.
