Betterment or Backlash? Racism in UK University History Departments
Dr Jonathan Saha, Durham University
In this session we will reflect critically on the actions taken across the sector to address racial underrepresentation and harassment in UK University History Departments since the 2018 Royal Historical Society Race, Ethnicity & Equality Report. Through this, we will explore the possibility for further interventions and, particularly, the benefits of engaging with antiracist pedagogy.
