Biography

I am exploring the subtleties of colonial narratives through a Psychoanalytic lens as a fully- funded PhD scholar. My scholarly interests are in the interdisciplinarity of Literature and Psychoanalysis. I had the privilege of serving on the organizing committee for the 30th Anniversary of PPS Conference- Dreamscapes of Belonging in a Changing World and also as the Speaker at International Webinar-2024 on Intersection of Psyche and Literature, held at SN College, under the University of Kerala. I have engaged in multiple paper presentations, including the National Seminar Series AGORA 2020 held in S N College on the theme Working with Deconstruction. and Green reading of - Roving the New Wilderness in Diane Cooks novel. My passion for academia is also reflected in my professional experiences. I have served as a Teaching Assistant in the UK and an Assistant Lecturer in India. These roles have allowed me to engage with diverse academic environments. Beyond academia, I am interested in creative writing. I was selected for the All India flash fiction contest Shakespeare in the Age of Covid-19, an anthology of sonnets and short stories. My writings on the "Medium", share my passion for literature for a broader audience. I am happy to connect with scholars sharing similar interests and would like to exchange thoughts on literature and psychoanalysis.
