Travel and Transport

The Travel and Transport team are here to help you with your sustainable journey to and from campus. We aim to improve facilities and increase the uptake of walking, cycling and public transport so we can all benefit from a cleaner, healthier environment. Through discounted tickets for busses and trains and providing on campus facilities such as cycle shelters we hope to make it easy for you to leave the car at home. Not everyone can do this though, so we also operate the car parks at Colchester and the parking permit system. Our staff patrol the car parks daily and the occasional parking ticket is issued where necessary but we are also there to ensure everyone is safe and well.
