Combatting the climate crisis

Carry Somers (MA Native American Studies, 1992) for her work at Fashion Revolution, increasing transparency in supply chains and raising public awareness regarding the challenges facing the global fashion industry.

Rebecca Daniel (MSc Tropical Marine Biology, 2018) for her work leading ocean science initiative, The Marine Diaries.

Mari Nishimura (BA International Relations and Politics, 2006) for her role at UNEP, empowering young people through environmental education. 

Nagima Ayubayeva (BSc Economics, 2011) for being part of Kazakhstan's effort of achieving its goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions .through green finance initiatives.

Change makers

Enricah Dulo (LLM International Human Rights Law, 2009) for improving access to justice for poor women and children in Kenya.

Chantelle Bell (BSc Genetics, 2016) for educating and empowering women to manage their gynaecological health, and campaigning for change.

Raudhah Nazran (LLB Law, 2019)for her dedication to tackling worldwide youth unemployment.
