Essex Law Clinic summer closure information

The Essex Law Clinic will be closed from 1 July - 31 August 2023.

We are fully booked in Housing and Family Law for June 2023. If you'd like to book an appointment for Housing and Family Law, we will begin scheduling appointments for September in the middle of August.

We are still taking bookings for Immigration, Employment or Benefits Law throughout June 2023, so if you would like to book an appointment, please fill in the below form below:

During our closure between 1 July - 31 August 2023, there are other agencies that may be able to provide help:

• Central Law
• Chelmsford Law Clinic - they offer 30 minutes free legal advice by phone.
• FreeLaw - you can contact them on 0207 473 9681 or email advice@community-links.org to arrange an appointment.
• Which? Legal could help for a small fee.
• Law Works –  providing information about free legal advice services with a search function enabling you to search for other legal clinics within your area.
• Law Centres Network –  providing information about free legal advice again, with a search function to help you find support.
