I am diligent about maintaining a sense of order to effectively juggle my academic commitments, my placement year, and my personal pursuits.

I’d advise prospective students to choose a course that not only aligns with their strengths but also excites them. Don’t be afraid to follow your passions, whether that’s a subject you love or a career path you’re curious about. What is the best part about living in Southend?

Living in Southend is great because of its beauty. The seaside is perfect for runs or leisurely walks, with stunning views. I enjoy going to the beach to get some fresh air whenever I need a break from studying. There are also plenty of parks around, making it easy to find a peaceful spot to relax or hang out with friends. The combination of nature and the vibrant seaside atmosphere really adds to the overall experience of being a student here.

What has been your favourite module so far and why?

My favourite module so far has been Portfolio Analysis. It has given me a solid understanding of the key financial principles that drive business success, and I love how it ties into my passion for analytical thinking. The real-world applications of the concepts we learn make it both challenging and rewarding. After graduation, I aspire to work in the finance sector, possibly in an international firm, where I can apply my knowledge of global markets and finance. Eventually, I hope to start my own business, combining what I’ve learned through my studies and work experiences to build something impactful.
