Registration

It's vital you attend your registration session to officially become a part of the University of Essex and receive your student ID card.

Registering is an essential step in becoming an official Essex student. As part of the registration event, you'll be required to complete an identification (ID) check to verify your right to study in the UK, you'll have the opportunity to speak to the Finance Team if necessary and also receive a student ID card.

Check your Registration time

Each department has set times to attend Registration. Check the full Registration Schedule and join the rest of your Department at the allotted time in the Sports Centre between Tuesday 3 October and Friday 6 October.

Have you completed online Registration?

Make sure you complete your online registration before you arrive.

It'll only take you ten minutes and gives you more time to enjoy yourself when you arrive. You'll be asked to check your personal details and have the opportunity to upload a photograph for your student ID card.
