For the summer 2019 tour NASA astronaut Micheal Foale will be touching down for an evening at the University of Essex where he will be telling breathtaking stories of his days in space over six incredible missions. British born Michael has been described to us as being able to captive a room with the audience hanging off every word. He was the first Briton to perform a space walk, and until 17 April 2008, he held the record for most time spent in space: 374 days, 11 hours, 19 minutes. He still holds the cumulative-time-in-space record for a UK citizen.
