Arrivals Day is primarily about getting settled into your new home at the University of Essex. Take time to collect your keys, unpack, explore your new home and meet new friends.
About Arrivals Day
You can arrive and move into your accommodation from 9am. We’ll be here ready to welcome you and give you a helping hand.
After you've unloaded and unpacked, there will be opportunity to meet fellow housemates and your RA (Residents' Assistant), before exploring campus.
Our Arrivals Day activities are focused on square 3, where our Students’ Union is located.
There is loads of choice and variety in our 17 food outlets on Colchester campus. On Arrivals Day, you’ll find all cafes, bars and restaurants in squares 3 and 4 open. Why not visit them with your family or new flat mates?
