This one hour crash course presentation will help students prepare for attending assessment centres both online and in person.
An assessment centre is normally the final stage of the selection process and involves completing a range of tasks that are related to the role you’re applying for (e.g. a presentation, group task, case study, interview or networking session). As with interviews, assessment centre preparation is vital. Students will get specific tips on how to prepare for an assessment centre. They will learn more about what is involved and what they can expect.
Here's a sample of the great tips you'll pick up in just 60 minutes:
- How to make a great first impression.
- How to approach the group tasks and work well in a team.
- Dealing with individual tasks and in tray exercises
- Standing out from the crowd (presentation).
- Networking tips
