Alumni Reunion Weekend

Join us for a trip down memory lane! We're delighted to invite you to our first Alumni Reunion Weekend, in collaboration with Event Essex.

This August we’re welcoming alumni back to our Colchester Campus for a weekend of fun where you can reconnect with your classmates and friends, relive your student days, and even stay overnight in the Towers!

What can you expect?

• From 2pm onwards you can check-in for one night's accommodation in the Towers
• Settle in, take a campus tour to see what's changed and what's the same, and visit the library and our special archive 
• Enjoy a welcome drinks reception with a gorgeous view overlooking the lake 
• Head down to the SU bar (though we can’t promise the same prices as your student days!)
• Use your dinner and breakfast vouchers for use at the Essex Food Outlets

If you’re not quite brave enough to spend a night in the Towers, you're still welcome to join us with a day ticket (please note this option does not include parking, dinner, or breakfast) and arrange your own accommodation.

You could book more modern campus accommodation, take advantage of the 10% alumni discount at Wivenhoe House Hotel or stay locally in Colchester.

Terms and conditions

• The cost of the full reunion package is £70 and includes entry to the welcome drink reception, campus and library tours, dinner and breakfast vouchers for use at Essex Food Outlets, one night’s accommodation in the Towers on Saturday 20 August, and free parking in our North Towers carpark
• Overnight accommodation is in Rayleigh Tower - flats contain 13 single rooms with shared facilities
• To be accommodated as a group, please book together and we will ensure you are in the same flat  
• We are unable to accept requests for specific rooms or flats
• Complimentary bed linen, towels, toiletries and WiFi are provided
• The cost of the day package is £17 and includes entry to the welcome drink reception, and campus and library tours
• Booking closes on Friday 12 August
