Your department induction is an essential part of Welcome Week.

Welcome to the Essex Pathways Department and to this new stage in your life! Here are the details relating to our Welcome Week where you'll meet me, Fiona Elsted as your Head of Department, along with your lecturers. There will also be plenty of opportunities to get to know your fellow students.

Meeting your peers is an important part of being at Essex, as we are bound together as a community by our common purpose which is to gain knowledge and build knowledge ultimately to make a better world, I think. You and every other person who joins our Essex Pathways department this year is a unique part of this community and we are so looking forward to seeing you claim your place in it.

This is the beginning of exciting, life-enhancing things to come. We can't wait to meet you at our Welcome Week events.
