We are excited to share recent advancements from our team in the field of soft and magnetic robotics, tailored for applications in medical and environmental research. Our presentation will explore the forefront of robotics technology, showcasing our innovations in targeted drug delivery and endovascular intervention. Additionally, we will highlight our development of robots designed for precise environmental monitoring. This talk promises to offer insights into the cutting-edge applications of robotics in enhancing healthcare outcomes and promoting environmental sustainability.

Dr. Ali Hoshiar is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Robotics at the University of Essex where he leads the Robotics for Under Millimeter Interventions (RUMI) lab. He was awarded the EPSRC-funded 'In-Target' project as the Principal Investigator (PI) and is the recipient of the 'Best Interdisciplinary Research Award' at the University of Essex.
