    Workshop Organisers

The Essex Finance Centre (EFiC) at Essex Business School is organising the “Women in Banking and Finance EFiC Workshop”. The workshop will take place on Wednesday 3 July 2024 at Essex Business School, University of Essex. We acknowledge financial support from the Academic Female Finance Committee of the American Finance Association (AFFECT).

The workshop is intended to provide a forum for early career female researchers to present their work, receive developmental feedback from established researchers, and build networks and future collaborations. It also aims to promote the discussion of gender equality in academia.

The workshop will comprise presentations and discussions of selected papers, a panel discussion with women academics holding senior leadership roles, and a networking reception.

We invite submissions from early career female researchers in all areas of banking and finance.
