Film screenings: Escaping isn’t always something bad

Join us for an evening of short films that expand on themes and ideas explored in the work of Farah Al Qasimi.

Together we will delve into the entangled relationship between material culture, migration and globalised societies.

We will show the work of a number of artists working today including short films by Ahaad Alamoudi, Zein Mejali and Farah Al Qasimi. The screening will be followed by Q&A.

Come along and enjoy an evening of film, debate, and bowls of dahl and refreshments!
