Sociology and Criminology Festive Social

Join us for our annual staff and student social to celebrate the festive season.

Ahead of the winter break, join your peers and colleagues in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at our annual festive social! 

Join us in the Common Room from 4.30pm on Tuesday 3 December. There will be free food, drink, games and music to celebrate the festive season as we approach the end of term. 

As an optional activity, you can also take part in our Holiday gift exchange! Here's what you need to do:

1. Buy a gift - pick a fun or quirky gift to the value of approximately £5. It must be something anybody could enjoy - funny, useful, or unusual!
2. Wrap it up - make sure no-one can guess what’s inside! The goal is to keep it a surprise.
3. Bring your wrapped gift to our Festive Social event on 3rd December and place it on the designated gift pile. 
4. As part of the game, everyone who brings a gift along will receive a random gift in return!
