The Centre for Environment and Society (CES) at Essex invites you to a Cross University Research Event to champion the diversity and strength of Environmental research across campus.
You'll hear from across twelve schools on the research expertise and themes they are undertaking that addresses the climate and biodiversity emergencies, two of societies greatest challenges to sustainable provisioning, health, and wellbeing.
The event will feature presentations from the Directors of CES on the Research Themes for 2025 and associated activities, as well as presentations on three example research projects that take inter or multidisciplinary approaches to tackling issues at the nexus of Environment and Society.
Presentations will be followed by brief ice-breaker activity, networking and refreshments (available for those attending in person only) and will provide a fantastic opportunity for attendees to come together, share ideas and develop new research collaborations.
Book to attend this event and see what it’s all about for yourself!
