Hosted by Essex Startups

This series is perfect for anyone eager to pursue their passions, make extra income, or transition into entrepreneurship.

Whether you're just getting started or looking to refine your existing hustle, you'll leave with actionable steps to make your side business thrive.

Over four consecutive weeks, we’ll focus on a different digital media channel each week that you can use to monetise your hobbies. We’ll explore podcasting, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube and consider the best channels based on your skills, interests, and market demand.

From identifying your passions and time management, to marketing and branding on a budget and scaling your side hustle, we’ll gain a thorough understanding of the ways to make your business thrive.

Week 1 - Podcasting

Hosted by: Dan Hewlett from the Meat and Greet BBQ Podcast

The Meat and Greet podcast covers all things BBQ and is co-hosted by two BBQ obsessed social bloggers. Every week Dan and his co-host Owen are joined by guest from the BBQ community to find out why they love to barbecue. Their show is for anyone who has an interest in barbecue and to hear about other people’s experiences, good and bad, and the equipment they favour to achieve their best cooks.

Dan will introduce you to the process of establishing a successful podcast, reaching your target audience, the best format/structure formulas, and insight into the planning of each show to maximise engagement.

Join us and gain the confidence, knowledge, and strategies to turn your side hustle dreams into reality!
