Lunchtime Tour: The Union Club / El Club de la Unión

Join us for a tour of The Union Club with artist Lucero Del Castillo Ames and Assistant Curator Gisselle Giron.

Together they will tell you about the photographic endeavour behind the works on show which respond to Lucero’s overarching research on the societal persistence on creating violence-oriented masculinities.

By photographic one of Lima's oldest private social clubs, The Union Club evokes a haunting sense of stasis, where the ghosts of traditional gendered roles linger, revealing how deeply such legacies are embedded in its cultural fabric.
