The Reading Robots research group with be screening Drew Hancock’s Companion (2025) a new film exploring the everchanging relationship of empathy and ethics between humans and A.I. The film will be followed with a discussion about what connection means in a digital age of advancing technology.  Dr Daniel O'Brien, lecturer in Film Studies in the Department of Literature, Film and Theatre Studies, will be speaking.
