The Reading Robots research group with be screening Drew Hancock’s Companion (2025) a new film exploring the everchanging relationship of empathy and ethics between humans and A.I. The film will be followed with a discussion about what connection means in a digital age of advancing technology.  Dr Daniel O'Brien, lecturer in Film Studies in the Department of Literature, Film and Theatre Studies, will be speaking.

This meeting of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Literary Studies is a hybrid event, taking place on campus and on Zoom.  Join the Zoom meeting here.
