Our first graduation ceremony for students with Essex degrees with Kaplan Singapore was a great success.
The 98 graduates were joined by 200 family and friends for the special ceremony, which included an honorary degree being awarded to Kenny Leck, founder and co-owner of BooksActually in Singapore.
Dean of Partnerships Professor Dominic Micklewright, who officiated at the ceremony, said: “The first University of Essex and Kaplan graduation ceremony in Singapore was a huge success and a memorable celebration of the hard work and achievement of our graduates.
“It was wonderful to see so many happy graduates receive their awards and to benefit from the degrees that the University and Kaplan have worked so well together to develop. The University is delighted to welcome all of our new Singapore graduates into our global alumni community. Our degrees in Singapore exemplify our determination to ensure that all of our international students benefit from our value of excellence in education."
The graduates had studied Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance or Management and Marketing.
