Essex tops readership chart at The Conversation

Our researchers are top of the class at The Conversation with their articles read more than any others.

The University of Essex has not only topped the readership table for April 2017 but also for the whole of the 2016-17 academic year to date.

One article, ‘The dangers of being a bridesmaid in China mean some brides now hire professionals’ by Yang Hu from the Department of Sociology, is now The Conversation’s second most read article of all time with 4.5m reads.
