Helping Belarus develop roadmap for higher education reform

Professor Anthony Vickers gave an invited talk at a Conference titled, "Supporting the Belarus Roadmap for Higher Education Reform" in Minsk organised by DAAD (the German academic exchange service).

Professor Vickers was one of eight EU Bologna Process experts to present at the Conference. The objective of the conference was to establish the start point of the new Belarus Roadmap for Higher Education. Professor Vickers presented on the topic of degree and module design using a learning outcome approach. Professor Vickers is internationally recognised for encouraging new approaches to degree course and module design which combine a commitment to excellence in both education and research.

In the evening, the group along with other EU visitors were welcomed by the German Ambassador at his residence in Minsk.

The Bologna Process aims to ensure comparability in the standards and quality of higher-education qualifications across European countries.
