The Meadows in UK Top 50 student accommodation

Essex’s newest student accommodation has been judged among the best in the country following a student poll.

Thousands submitted reviews of their accommodation based on seven factors: value-for-money, location, hall management, cleanliness, social spaces, social experience and internet connection.The Meadows, along with the others in the top 50 list featured on the Student Crowd website, achieved excellence across all seven criteria.

Located next to the River Colne, and only10-minutes walk from the main University of Essex campus, The Meadows is home to 648 students. It was praised for the social atmosphere on offer.

An extension to The Meadows, providing a further 643 en suite rooms and studios, is currently being built and is due to open next year.
