All this week we are celebrating the achievements of some of our students who are graduating in the class of 2017. Aleksandra Milosheva, graduating today from Essex Business School, tells us her story.
Aleksandra Milosheva (BSc Management and Marketing) describes her move from Bulgaria to Essex to study as being the best decision of her life.
“Essex provides so many opportunities I would need a lot longer than three years to do everything, but I have certainly made the most of my time here” she said.
Aleksandra has won many awards – both academic and for the contribution she has made to the University – including the Big Essex Student of the Year award last year. She has acted as an Applicant Day Ambassador, encouraging new students to come here, and as a Peer Mentor, supporting first year students once they arrive.
She has also been very active on the social front, organising events for both the Essex Business School and the Bulgarian Society. With an eye on her ambition to set up her own digital marketing agency, she has also done everything she can to increase her employment chances, from learning Spanish through the Languages for All scheme, through writing regular blogs to an internship with a marketing business on the Knowledge Gateway.
