Shami Chakrabarti is stepping down as our Chancellor after an inspirational three years in the role.

She has been speaking to us on our Vimeo channel about why she has loved being part of our community - the Essex Spirit, the determination of our students and why being the mascot for a world-leading university is such a privilege.
