Celebrations as School of Sport, Rehabilitation and Exercise Science officially launches

We're celebrating the launch of our School of Sport, Rehabilitation and Exercise Science. 

The official launch at the Silberrad Centre at our Colchester Campus saw Professor Graham Underwood, our Executive Dean of Science and Health, and our Vice Chancellor, Professor Anthony Forster giving speeches congratulating everyone involved in setting up the new School.

Professor Underwood said: "I was delighted to celebrate the official opening of our School of Sport, Rehabilitation and Exercise Sciences, which brings together expertise in sport science, sports therapy, rehabilitation and physiotherapy. This grouping of disciplines makes Essex unique in its depth and range of sport and wellbeing research, covering both health and exercise in the general population and the performance of elite athletes."
