Welcome to Dr Rory Truell

The Centre for Social Work and Social Justice is delighted to recognise IFSW Secretary-General Dr Rory Truell as an Honorary Professor.

Professor Vasilios Ioakimidis, Director of the Centre, said “We are very honoured to welcome Dr Rory Truell to the Centre for Social Work and Social Justice at the University of Essex as honorary Professor. Dr Truell is leading a global movement of 3 million social workers and stakeholders to incorporate the integration of socially, environmental and economic sustainability. Under his leadership, our global social work community has expanded at an unprecedented pace, and most importantly, it has become more proactive, inclusive and confident than ever. We are delighted that our students and partners will be able to learn from one of the world’s key social work leaders.”
