Essex Business School’s MBA confirmed as world-class

Essex Business School has received re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), for its Essex MBA programme.

This prestigious accolade demonstrates the School’s continuing commitment to excellence in management education – and maintains its position among the top 2% of business schools worldwide.

Accreditation from the Association of MBAs represents the highest standard of achievement in postgraduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes, which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction, achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.

Director of The Essex MBA, Professor Nicolas Forsans, said: “Securing the maximum award possible from such a high-profile accreditation body in the MBA world is a fantastic achievement for The Essex MBA. Our AMBA accreditation places Essex Business School among the top 2% of business schools worldwide.

Members of AMBA’s accreditation panel, representing senior management at AMBA-accredited business schools globally, commended the cooperative relationship between the Innovation Centre at Essex and Essex Business School. The relationship was said to “yield positive results for the MBA, the School and the wider university”. The panel also congratulated the School on their research and teaching rankings.

The Essex MBA is Essex Business School's flagship course. It aims to support senior managers to step up into leadership roles. The programme seeks to develop socially responsible entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs delivering sustainable international businesses.
