The training camp saw 20 stars of the international game hone their skills at the home of the Essex Rebels and stay on campus.
Flying overseas from as far afield as America and Denmark the ballers battled it out to be selected for the GB Men’s National team.
The cutting-edge home to the Rebels was selected due to The University of Essex's strong relationship with the national side.
Dr Dave Parry, Director of Sport, said: “It was an honour to host this training camp and really shows the standard of facilities here at The University of Essex.
“I wish all the players involved the best and hope they go all the way at the European Championships in North Macedonia in July.
“Basketball is a major part of everything we do here, and we are excited to strengthen our already strong links with GB Basketball.”
The week-long camp allowed players to bond ahead of the FIBA U20 European Championship in Skopje, North Macedonia next month.
