The top players will entertain at the University of Essex next month – with more than 1,000 fans expected to pack out the arena.
The Nations Unite doubleheader will see both the men’s and women’s sides take on rivals Nottingham in a hotly anticipated clash.
Both sides are packed with some of the best players in the game – with The Rebels boasting eight international players.
Away from the on-court drama spectators will be able to celebrate Essex’s vibrant multiculturalism, with dances and a flag parade.
There will also be a live DJ, fan giveaways, and top-quality street food available.
The flagship event comes after governing body Volleyball England praised the Essex Rebels for their “progressive and trailblazing” matchday experience and follows the announcement that an incredible quarter of the new Volleyball England men’s squads is made up of current and past Essex Rebels stars.
An Essex Rebels Manager, Diana Voynova, said: “We are very excited to host the Nations Unite game at the Essex Sport Arena celebrating all different nationalities.
“This is the first of its kind and we have many exciting activities and performances planned throughout the day.
“Come support your Essex Rebels volleyball teams and don’t miss out on this great celebration of cultures spectacle!”
Tickets for the February 3rd event are on sale now with the coaches promising an exciting day of entertainment.
