Dr David Bholat

Biography

David Bholat is Faculty’s Director for Financial Services, leading the transformation of clients' core business using AI in the UK and internationally. Previously, he led and launched analytical functions at Barclays and the Bank of England. A former Fulbright Fellow and Coca-Cola Scholar, he holds degrees from London Business School, the University of Chicago, London School of Economics and Georgetown University, as well as professional qualifications from the CFA Institute, PRMIA and CISI. His publications include research in leading academic outlets such as the Journal of Monetary Economics and The Economic Journal, as well as popular commentary in prominent periodicals such as the Financial Times and City A.M. He was formerly a Non-Executive Director for a credit union, and is currently a Trustee for a charity, a Member of the British Library’s Advisory Council, and Member of the Resources and Audit Committee for a private equity foundation.
