Ideology and Use of Violence in Rebel Groups

This research explores the dynamics of rebel groups' ideologies and their impact on violence, peace negotiations, and conflict duration. By introducing the concept of micro-ideologies, subtle ideological variations within groups sharing an ideological family, it analyses the interplay between conflict framing, conflict goals, and normative constraints in multi-actor civil wars.
