Louis Clay

Biography

I am a PGR with a specific interest in the MPV17 gene. This gene encodes the functionally unknown MPV17 protein, along with other uncharacterized versions of the protein called splice-variants. I am investigating how different versions of the MPV17 protein are created and their potential impact on cancer treatments. I mainly use recombinant vectors from various cell types to sequence and understand these MPV17 splice-variants.
