Biography

As a Careers Consultant I support students to gain valuable employability skills and make a successful transition into life after university. I design and deliver career development learning (across the Faculty of Science and Health), develop employability activities, collaborate with employers and industry professionals, and work with a range of colleagues from across the wider university. I meet students and graduates 1-2-1 to offer advice and guidance on topics such as career decisions, further study, job hunting and securing all types of work. If you have any queries or would like support, feel free to get in touch. I've been at Essex for over 10 years, starting initially in a role working across placements and work-based learning opportunities. I made the leap into higher education after working for training providers where I helped to improve the career prospects of people in the region.
