Biography

Fawei Deng is a PhD candidate at the School of Sport, Rehabilitation, and Exercise Sciences at the University of Essex. Prior to this, he completed a MRes in Physiotherapy at Shanghai University of Sport from 2019 to 2022. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from Gannan Medical University in 2019. Fawei has published in several peer-reviewed journals, including JOSPT Open and Physical Therapy in Sport. His research interests primarily focus on patellofemoral pain and other knee pathologies, biomechanics, and the neurophysiology of musculoskeletal conditions.
