Biography

I work with my job share Kate Gornall to secure funds from philanthropic trusts and foundations. Philanthropic funds can support buildings and facilities, outreach projects, campus activities, staff salaries, equipment, scholarships, bursaries and other project related costs. Our role includes: * Building on the trusts and foundations strategy to develop relationships with donors and prospects * Identifying funding opportunities * Working with university academics and staff to write funding proposals and applications * Developing relationships with trusts and foundations and ensuring they are kept informed of the impact of their support * Ensuring contractual compliance and effective grant management If you have a project that is not 100% research-based and you think may be suitable for philanthropic support, please get in touch to discuss.
