Biography
After gaining a undergraduate degree in psychology I trained in counselling, mentoring and completed my teacher training as well as becoming a samaritan. I then completed boht my grauate diploma in psychodynamic thinking and masters degree in child and adolescent psychodynamic psychotherapeutic counselling. I have worked in schools as a teacher and psychotherapeutic counsellor and started my own private practice Teenage Mental Health in 2019, in Ipswich Suffolk. This practice has grown rapidly and now sees over 200 patients per week and I remain the clinical director of the organsiation. Following a special interest in workign with dogs and children psychodynamically I am now conducting research in this area as aprt of my proessional doctorate at the University of Essex.
