Karina Herrera

Biography

Karina Herrera is a physiotherapist in the Health, wellbeing and care hub. Karina completed an undergraduate degree in Sports Science & Injury management, and was awarded a research prize for her dissertation. She continued onto a Masters degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Essex. She has worked clinically in both public and private sectors across a broad spectrum of departments such as respiratory, critical care, stroke, orthopaedics, care of the elderly and community. Karina continues to work in the NHS part time as a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist in neurorehabilitation alongside her physiotherapy role in the Health, wellbeing and care hub.
