Joff Hopkins

Biography

I joined the University of Essex in 2017, and currently work as a Planning and Data Insight Officer within Finance, Planning and Data Insight. My portfolio of work includes domestic league table performance reporting, the annual planning round process, PGR reporting and Partnerships education performance. Please feel free to ask me about Tableau, SQL and Python, or my advocacy for Continuous Improvement. Before joining FPDI, I worked in Communications and External Relations (Database Officer in Alumni Relations) and Academic Section (Deputy Timetabling and Room Booking Manager). Prior to joining Essex, I spent 15 years working in commercial radio as a broadcaster, producer and Head of Music for stations across the UK.
