Biography

I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Essex in the Department of Psychoanalytic and Psychosocial Studies. My research is centred on the topic of female subjectivity and psychoanalysis. I am a psychologist with a specialisation in clinical psychology (Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge), in creative therapies (PgD in dramatherapy, fully qualified in Lego therapy), in therapies through play (PgD in play therapy), in special education and in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy (MA). Psychodynamically, I specialized in Contemporary Interpersonal Psychodynamic Therapy from the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy in Athens (ICPA). I commenced my collaboration with ICPA as a trainee and have since undertaken roles as an Associate Lecturer in the postgraduate course (Contemporary Interpersonal Psychodynamic Therapy) and as a Group Facilitator. I serve as the Head of Research and Literature at the Institute, where I oversee workgroups addressing matters pertaining to academic literature, research, and professional development. My interest in research was first kindled a few years ago when I was employed as a research assistant under the guidance of Dr. Elizabeth Kirk in the Department of Developmental Psychology at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, where I was initially enrolled as a student. At the present time, I work clinically with adults, children, and adolescents, both in individual and group settings, in person and remotely.
