Rebecca Lawrence

Biography

I currently lead the delivery of international alumni engagement activity, working closely with the Head of Alumni Relations to support the University's strategic priorities. I focus on planning, coordinating and delivering alumni events on a national and international basis, working collaboratively with academic departments, student recruitment and Regional Offices, including attendance at selected national and international events. I ensure that as a department, we deliver activity that supports student recruitment, student experience and employability, and profiling raising initiatives by developing networks of alumni nationally and internationally to leverage support for University strategic priorities. I regularly collaborate and work with Marketing and Student Recruitment to strategically devise activity programmes and promote graduate alumni profiles, and volunteering to support student recruitment nationally and internationally. I contribute to creating a strategy for the growth of alumni and stakeholder engagement activity, measuring and reporting on the impact of this strategy. I work with the team to develop our relationships with academic departments, with the dual aims of engaging alumni with department-specific activity and supporting the strategic aims of the departments.
