Ludovico Luce

Biography

I am Ludovico Luce and I am currently a PhD candidate and an assistant lecturer at the Essex Business School. Before coming back to academia, I worked in a hedge fund based in London and New York for two years. My job in the hedge fund allowed me to have practical knowledge of investment strategies and risk management. I graduated with an MSc in Financial Engineering and Risk Management at the University of Essex which gave me all the knowledge and tools I needed, and that I still need, to face the quite complex world of hedge funds. My research interest lies between finance and economics and it focuses on the effect of volatility shocks and inflation shocks in macroeconomic variables as well as on the industry sector.
