Sandy Macmillen

Biography

I've worked for many years at Essex, most of them across the social sciences departments. This has given me good insight into the teaching & research interests and needs of students and staff, particularly in relation to finding and using information resources, including data, academic publishing, grey literature and open access Web resources. Teaching effective information & literature search skills to students at all levels is an important element of my work. In recent years I've helped organise the On Track For Your Master's programme aimed at PGT students, and been heavily involved with decolonisation efforts on behalf of the Library.
