Biography

Kirsty Makepeace is a careers guidance professional with over a decade of careers advice and consultancy experience. She has experience working in multiple settings including universities, colleges, schools, prisons and community support groups and charities. She has a merit level masters in careers management where her research specialism was based around EDI and the inclusion of religious belief systems in careers guidance spaces. Kirsty is currently attached to the faculty of science and health working predominantly with Life Sciences, SRES and Health and Social Care to deliver career development learning lectures and activities. She also continues her research interests in EDI working on various research projects into improving EDI careers provision within the careers service.
