Thesis
Assessing and Improving Survey Quality in Sub-Saharan Africa
Better understanding of survey quality allows for control and minimisation of survey error. More accurate data eliminates spurious conclusions which can lead to wrong policy implications. Consequently, the impetus for this doctoral research lies in the shortcomings of survey research and the adequate consideration of survey quality in Sub-Saharan Africa leading to the following overarching research question: How do different aspects of survey design impact the quality of surveys in Sub-Saharan?
